What a pleasure it was to photograph these two sweet boys. Like most twins, Charles and Henry were most comfortable when they were next to each other. What a miracle.

This image, while not planned, is one of my favorites. Mom was trying to soothe her babies and I just love how it captures a mother's tenderness. Also a great perspective shot to show their tiny newborn size.

Here is Charles posing beautifully for his first professional portraits. And oh, look at those eyes! (Fingers crossed I have the correct names! I can take photos of twins but I am the worst at telling them apart!)

Henry's turn! If I didn't know better, I would think he was working it for the camera. Look at that smile.

Big sis was excited to be in photos as well. I knew immediately I wanted to capture her soulful eyes and fun loving personality.

And here is the party of five. I always photograph the formal looking-at-the-camera shot, but without fail my preferred image is the one in which they are interacting with each other.

And the shot every parent wants... all of the kids peaceful and happy.

Truth be told, there are a lot of shots before we get that perfect trio shot. But these outtakes can be just as fun. Let's face it, this is what having kids is really like! (And now it's documented.)

Sweet butterfly kisses for her little brother.

Two parents. Two newborns. A lot of love.

I love the symmetry of this image, too.

Some special images of mom holding her bundle.

A strong yet gentle dad.

I sneak in more portraits as often as I can. Peaceful in their parents' arms, the window light blesses the moment.

Toes. I just love 'em. And I especially like to put wedding rings on them.

One last symbolic shot of how it all started and where they are now. Something good to remember as they are raised. ;-)
